Train with the science behind it.

I'm Andres Corrales, The Tissue Guy: a physical therapist assistant and strength coach. I teach the science behind training and apply it to real programming and home-gym equipment.

About me

Mechanism first. Then the program.

I'm a physical therapist assistant and strength coach. My work sits where rehab, exercise science and strength training meet: I start with the mechanism (what a movement actually loads, and how your tissues adapt), then turn it into training you can run.

Every program is built around your training history, your goals and how you move, not a template. I coach clients in a fully equipped private gym in Weston, FL, and online.

My content

Education, not hype.

I make short-form educational video on biomechanics, connective tissue, training mechanisms and home-gym equipment.

  1. 01

    The mechanism

What the exercise or piece of equipment actually loads, and why it matters for your tissues.

  2. 02

    The setup

How to set it up and cue it so the mechanism shows up in your training.

  3. 03

    The program

Where it fits in a real program, with sets, progressions and the trade-offs.

Training-first partnerships

I use equipment in my own training and programming for real before I make content about it. No generic reviews. My audience trusts that if I show it, it earns a place in a program.
